I recently worked at Airbnb as a product content strategy intern for the GuestX team. I was hired out of 6,000 applicants. 

I developed various skillsets, which have included:
• A strong collaborative spirit (organized an intern content crit)
• A knack for product writing
• A will to improve brand tone and voice
• A strong knowledge of UX/UI writing principles
• Adaptability
• An understanding of design thinking
• A supportive and empathic contributor to the team through positive and strategic feedback

I leveraged feedback from the CX team and facilitated a project to solve user needs through clearer and more transparent copy. This meant writing and maintaining a one-pager that included top-line metrics, data, experimentation plans, designs, content, etc.

Copy editor and content writer

One of my major roles was to help write and edit trigger/funnel marketing campaigns. My responsibilities were not limited to the former, but also included general editing, copy writing and copy editing for all copy material whether it was internal or external. 

The work done was both technical and creative: press releases, internal memos, FAQs for the website and copy writing for differing buyer personas, social media content, etc.

Freelance communication work

Indexing, transcribing, hospitality, brochures, information packets, copy editing.

On one occasion, I provided support to the event manager for the Napa Valley Investiture for the Brotherhood of St. Hubertus. I created brochure material and helped set up the event by making gift bags and coordinating with the hotel manager to meet guests' needs. The guests included many vineyard owners in the Napa Valley and people who traveled from Europe to attend the event.
